Day 31- No time for photos today so I used one from our trip. I think the kids enjoyed the sand the best.

Day 25 - Lawrence and Lucas on Red Mountain Pass just above the falls.

Day 26 - Grandma playing cards, Go Fish, with the kiddos during our camping trip.

Day 27 - Lawrence and Lucas at the Ruins of Chaco Canyon.

Day 28 - We caught the sunrise early in the morning with the moon still hanging around. I love moments like these.

Day 29 - Everyone waking up, Daddy still sleepy.

Day 30 - My sweet girl hanging out after smores, looking a little bored.

Day 24 - Nat was playing with chalk on our deck. I couldn't resist with all that pink!

We're going camping so we'll see you in a week!

Day 23- I thought I should get a sleeping baby photo. Ahh, he's so sweet.

I am working on using "haze" with my photos and finding it more difficult then I thought.

Day 22 - I cheated on so many levels today. This is not my photo, not my camera and not taken today. However, I did do the editing, does that count? Testing my new actions, interesting.

Day 21 - Father's Day. We had a little portrait session with Daddy, how adorable is this?

Day 20 - I finally got around to doing laundry. Lucas was playing in the massive pile to be folded. Thank you Lawrence for folding that mess!

It's over and I still have one assignment left to do! I'm a little burned out right now so it's time for a break from the computer. These are some of my photos. I have very little experience with still life photography so it is still a work in progress. I'm learning, that is all that matters right?

Day 19 - This is one of the photos I took during the photo shoot we had for the Down syndrome association calendar. Lucas was in a great mood and did really well, Nat on the other hand was a little whinny. I'll have more on my family blog soon.

Day 18 - I finally met my new baby cousin, Jacob. He was beautiful!

Day 17 - I thought all day on today's word prompt, "full bodied," for Creativity Boot Camp. I could not think of anything original, so I took a picture of this beautiful old pitcher. It definitely has a full body. I've been experimenting on textures and I decided to do a screen instead of an overlay and I like the look, it's interesting. I think this class is kicking my booty.

Day 16 - I decided to compare my book shelf to my daughters. I found that they are not much different. Books about children and children's books. I think I need a little variety!

Day 15 - Nat was supposed to be cleaning her room but when I went to check on her, there was a whole lot of goofiness going on.

Day 14 - As I was driving to get my youngest to sleep a little dog ran out in front of me on a busy road. I couldn't keep driving, I knew he would be dead soon if I did. So I pulled over and we waited until Animal Control could come fetch him. He was a real sweetie.

Day 13 - The farmer's market started today for the summer season. We walk down every Friday to grab some goodies. The summer veggies looked so beautiful and delicious.

Day 12 - Lucas just learned to give a "high five." The only thing is, he doesn't let go of your hand afterward. This is Lucas giving his father a "five" but as he held on, it reminded me of how much this little boy is protected by his father.

Day 11 - Today I went in search of something that I could interpret as "Heavy Metal" for my Creativity Boot Camp Class. This is an antique iron doorstop at my parent's house that I have always loved.

Day 10 - Today I got the pleasure of meeting Piper and her Mommy, Aimee. Isn't she a beauty?

Day 9 - We visited a local park with a huge water fountain that the kids play in. It was hot and the water was a great relief.

Day 8 - My adorable niece and nephew are visiting this week. This is Ashlyn and yes her eyes are that blue.

Day 7- On our walk back from the City Wide Garage Sale, I stopped to take a picture of a metal grate for a new texture. I looked up and saw this. Beautiful.

Day 6 - Today Lucas's new shoes came in that he won from Pediped. I have secret addiction to these shoes, they are irresistible!

Day 5 - This is the first "sign" I have seen of budget cuts since the people of Colorado Springs did not pass a bill that would raise taxes to keep restrooms and trashcans at the city parks. It also did away with swimming pools and some of the local museums. Very sad.

Day 4- Lucas watches his sister play on the deck from inside the new storm door. His hand pressed against the glass shows his perfect palmar simian crease.

Day 3- Wasting time at the park, relaxing on a blanket with the perfect view.
